PRIMEDISTOM® tracheostomy tubes with cuff have a thin-walled low-pressure cuff that seals the cannula securely opposite the tracheal wall. The soft cuff moulds perfectly to the anatomy of the trachea and ensures a proper seal even at a low filling pressure. The connector line to the pilot balloon is perfectly integrated into the outer cannula and its smooth, rounded surface prevents additional irritation of the mucous membranes.

PRIMEDISTOM® tracheostomy tubes without cuff are suitable for long-term use after tracheostomies and laryngectomies. Their excellent flexibility and thermoplastic material properties allow them to mould well to the anatomy of the trachea. Replacement inner cannulas for PRIMEDISTOM® tracheostomy tubes with or without cuff are available with a range of connection options as well as in fenestrated and non-fenestrated versions.
